UAE’s Yahsat appoints Farhad Khan as new Chief Commercial Officer

Abu Dhabi-based Al Yah Satellite Communications Company, better known as Yahsat, has appointed Farhad Khan as its new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). In his capacity as CCO, Mr. Khan will be responsible for customer operations, marketing, and sales management for Yahsat.

Mr. Khan, who was educated in South Africa, brings over twenty years of industry experience to his new position at Yahsat, having previously worked as CCO at Airtel Africa, and in senior executive roles for MTN South Africa and MTN Zambia. His appointment at Yahsat comes several weeks after Mona Al Muhairi was appointed as Chief Human Capital Officer.

Masood M. Sharif Mahmood, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Yahsat, said, ‘’After careful selection, we are pleased to have found the best individual for the job. Farhad has a proven record in the telecommunications industry combined with strong leadership skills and deep industry knowledge.
